Care. Keep it dry. Put it on last, after lotion and perfume, take it off to swim, shower and sleep, and store it in its box. A soft, dry cloth is all it needs.

No. The gold is a plating over base metal, and the Material row above says exactly what each part is; earrings with 925 silver posts say so there too. Plating keeps its colour longest when it stays dry.
