A camellia that stays open all winter.

A flower brooch or pearl brooch from Sera Marea is shaped by hand in silver-plated, gold-tone or colored copper wire, with a plain pin back. The eight designs include a camellia, two calla lilies, a ginkgo leaf, a gilded fan and small blossoms set with freshwater cultured pearls, priced $58–$98. Pinned to a wool lapel, the wire petals lift a little from the cloth and catch the light.
