Crocheted wire
One wire, one hook, one loop at a time. Lace, but metal. No two alike.
Made by hand · Free US shipping over $100 · 30-day returns
Every piece here is crocheted by hand. A single fine wire is worked with a hook into loops and stitches, the way lace is made, so the metal ends up with air in it. Because the hook is held by hand, no two pieces come out quite alike.
The air keeps it light. The Woven Pearl Band Ring weighs 2 g. Lace Fringe Hoops are 4.8 cm across at 6 g each. The Camellia Brooch is 7 cm across and 14 g. The Ruffle Collar Necklace is about 23 g.
The wire is copper or brass: silver-plated, gold-tone or colored. Fittings and stems are mostly 18K gold-plated or palladium-plated. Earring posts are 925 sterling silver where the page says so. Nothing is solid gold or solid sterling.
Keep it dry, put it on last after lotion and perfume, and store it in the paper drawer box it ships in, so the loops are not crushed.
Questions about crocheted wire
Is it really crocheted by hand?
Yes. Each piece is crocheted with a hook from a single wire, loop by loop. The technique line reads Crocheted by hand only on pieces made this way.
Will a stitch come loose?
Within six months of delivery, if a stitch loosens, a post bends or a clasp fails in normal wear, write to us with a photo and we send a replacement. Water damage, loss and pieces pulled out of shape are not covered.
Is it heavy?
Lighter than it looks. Crocheted earrings mostly weigh 3–10 g each, brooches 6–18 g, and the Ruffle Collar Necklace about 23 g.
What metal is the wire?
Copper or brass, silver-plated, gold-tone or colored, as the material line on each page says. Nothing is solid gold or solid sterling.
Can it get wet?
Keep it dry. Take it off to wash, swim or shower, and put it on after lotion and perfume. Water damage is not covered by the replacement promise.
